Parkway Elementary School in Virginia Beach was recognized by the National Network of Partnership Schools for their Technology 4 Parents program. Parkway offers a series of free classes to help computer challenged parents learn the technology their children use. The classes take place in the mornings and evenings and cover basic topics like word processing, email, and using the school’s Parent Portal. In addition, the school offers babysitting services to encourage parents to attend. For helping parents support their student’s success, we applaud Parkway, our Elementary School of the Month.
